Our story

Savvy Studio was created by Ben and Lisa to support businesses that share our passion for amazing service and a genuine desire to deliver something special.

Ben has spent 25 years as a software developer, but he had a vision to design software in a way that would allow us to listen to the needs of our clients, respond quickly to those needs in a sustainable way. Savvy is all about designing software totally tailored to the requirements of the industry, using all the latest, best and most resilient technology.

Lisa brings 10 years of experience in business development, plus 10 years of running her own small business. With that comes an understanding of the challenges clients face, balancing their business goals with their life outside of work.

Our team

Lisa Gill


Lisa heads up the business side of Savvy. On a day to day basis that means working with her team, overseeing marketing, sales, HR and customer support. Lisa is responsible for creating and implementing the vision of Savvy and setting the strategy and goals for the company as a whole.

Ben Gill


Ben’s role is to lead his tech team to make his concept a reality, delivering innovative and sustainable tech. On a day to day basis he looks after the design of Savvy, the planning and the product architecture. He is also responsible for the security, back up and resilience of Savvy.

Louise Knoyle

Head of Customer Support

Lou’s number one priority is to take good care of our clients. To help her she has a great team of customer support representatives. Lou is responsible for looking after all clients from those totally new to Savvy to those clients that have been with us since the very first day.

Gaby Cristinao

Head of Sales

Gaby is responsible for our sales and digital marketing team. Gaby’s mission is to make Savvy the no.1 software all around the world. Gaby looks after sales strategy, market research and on a day to day basis is a contact for key opinion leaders in our field, she also takes care of events and email marketing.

Chaitanya Jadhav

Digital and Social Media Marketing

Chaitanya is our guru on all things digital. Looking after our social media pages and groups, social media ads, our IGTV and podcast plus google ads and SEO. His goal is to develop a community for small businesses to come together and find support, education and amazing software!

Lisa Doolin

Customer Support

Lisa is a member of our customer support team, working Monday to Friday in the afternoons and evenings. As well as looking after clients via live chat, Lisa regularly fits in 1:1 training and demo sessions with our clients and also is a regular interviewer on Pet Biz Pep Talk our IGTV/podcast.

Jessica Teeling

Customer Support

Jess is our out of hours support, so when you need a hand on evenings or Saturdays Jess is often there to help you out via our live chat. Jess can also be booked for demo’s and is always happy to give new potential clients a tour of the software.

Sue Peake

Customer Support

Sue is a valuable member of the team, having run her own pet grooming businesses for many years (and using Savvy in her grooming salons) she has first hand experience of what it is like to run your own business and rely on software. Sue takes the lead in demos on Monday mornings and wednesday evenings.

Donat Sabjan

Customer Support

Donat, with Jess, looks after the weekends on customer support. If you need a hand on a Friday or a weekend, go through HELP top right in Savvy and Donat will be there. He loves demos too so do book in if you fancy an informal chat, he’d be happy to answer all of your questions.
